Design features and characteristics are developed into near final form during the Engineering phase. All design factors are considered including a systematic analysis of each component’s design, computer aided drafting, design for manufacturing, the manufacturing plan and preparation for prototyping. A design review takes place at which point the customer confirms direction. The close is an updated quotation, and upon customer acceptance, the project moves to the Prototyping phase.
